River Rejuvenation & Conservation Program run by Uttarakhand Science Education & Research Center, Dehradun under the mentor ship of Director Prof. (Dr.) Durgesh Pant. Such Community Outreach Program is an extensive part of continuing part of USERC with participation of various grassroots level agencies. Such community participation program for conservation of natural water resources USERC jointly collaborated with Naula Foundation in River Gagas Valley Villages in Dwarhat, Almora District. The main purpose is to credibly present the importance and value of heritage Naule Dhare and their historical experience for water and sustainable development, and vice versa, present the importance of water management for the protection of heritage. It’s presence has always been ascertained in a variety of ways and the development of human society everywhere is connected with various forms of water management.
