The Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Centre (USERC) under Department of Science and Technology, Government of Uttarakhand, is initiating a program to honor/ felicitate women scientists/social worker for their significant achievements in any field of science, teaching, social science, society, medical and agriculture. Nominations are invited from Head of the Institutions or desired candidate can also apply directly through proper channel. The candidates should be engaged in basic and applied research that has application for product and technology development and/or a demonstrated ability to benefit the communities/or outstanding publications/performance in research, teaching and agriculture. The awards are in two categories:
(i) Young Women Scientist/Social worker (below 40 years of age), and
(ii) Distinguished Scientist/Social worker (above 40 years of age).
