02 Days workshop and Training Program was organized on Good Laboratory Practices for Biomedical Students by Uttarakhand Sciences Education and Research Centre (USERC), Department of Information and Science Technology, Govt. of Uttarakhand and DNA Labs – A Centre for Applied Sciences, Dehradun.
Inauguration, was done at Shivalik College of Engineering, Inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Anita Rawat, Director, USERC, who emphasis on stalling and strengthening the Biomedical studies for Quality Health Services. Dr. OP Nautiyal Scientist USERC and Dr. Narotam Sharma, Scientist and Head, DNA Labs along with Dr. Ganesh Bhatt, Principal, Shivalik College of Engineering along with Shri Govind Ram Pandey, Director, DNA Labs were present Mr. Divya Prakash Pandey with the role of thanks, further initiated the workshop.
In workshop cum Training Program students were practically trained and demonstrated about various quality parameters in Laboratory Testings.
Experiments were done along with participants to make them aware of new methods and technologies, which to is very fruitful for them to fetch Jobs in various Research Institutes, Universities, Colleges, Hospitals and Labs. Dr. Gyandra Awasthi from Dolphin of Biomedical and Natural Sciences, Dr. Indra Rautela from Uttaranchal University, Dr. Reema Pant, CEO, Techno Hub Laboratories along with Miss Ankita Singh and Mr. Tejpal, Scientists, DNA Labs. were the main Resources person and Technical person for the workshop.
More than 200 participants attended the program offline as well as in online mode.
